The second Bass Assassins' classic is fast approaching.   In lest than a month the 21 best anglers from the 2015 Bass Assassins season will be launching their boats at Lock 1.  At this moment there are anglers restringing reels, going through tackle, watching the weather, and going over satellite maps to fine tune their game plans.  On the morning of the big tournament they will be boats lined up along the bank.  Rod lockers open.  Last minute tweaks being performed.  As the sky starts to glow behind the trees the adrenaline starts to pump through the veines of every angler.  They all start to stage waiting for their number to be called.  As they set off one by one to their first spots they dream of hoisting the trophy at the end of the event.  This is a little video I put together to help get everyone pumped for the classic.  I hope you guys enjoy it.

The last Bass Assassins tournament of 2015 is in the books.  It was a wet one with non stop rain all day long.  It was a great day on the water however.  Out of 9 anglers there was 7 limits brought to the scale, and over 50 lbs. of bass were weighed in.  On top was Shaun Miley with a 8 lbs. 1 oz. limit.  In second was Jared Norris.  Jared earned his second place finish by fishing with a hook in his hand from 8 in the morning.  He managed to put together a 7 lbs. 15 oz. bag with only four fish.  His kicker was 5 lbs. 2 oz. giving him big fish honors as well.

It was a small group that gathered to fish today on Bayou Lacombe.  Only 7 anglers and one Little Tangler fished.  It was a tough one today with 3 people blanking.  Steve Ruschmeier was the only angler to bring in a limit.  His bag went 6 lbs. 3 oz. which was enought to earn him first place.  Following Steve was Jimmy Dorris with a 3 fish bag weighing 4 lbs. 6 oz.  Jimmy's big fish was 3 lbs. 1 oz.  Between his total weight and his kicker Jimmy walked away with big fish and second place.  In the Little Tanglers division it was Chris Stein who took the win with 1 fish weighing 1 lbs. 11 oz.
